A SPECIAL meeting of the BFA Union District #48 and Northwest Technical Center Board of Directors was held on May 25, 2006.
Present for Quorum: Jim Mercier, Donna Corrigan, and Al Corey
Administrators: Jean Prindle, Special Ed Director, FCSU, Ned Caron, BFA Principal and Ruth Caggige, Assistant Principal
Visitors: Joe Cahill, Esq., Parents of Student #7 and Student #7 and Parent of Student # 8 and Student #8
1. Call to Order
Jim Mercier, Chair, called the meeting to order at 6:35 p.m.
A motion was made at 6:40 PM by Al Corey and seconded by Donna Corrigan to enter into Executive Session for a student issue. Motion carried 3-0.
A motion was made at 7:09 PM by Al Corey and seconded by Donna Corrigan to come out Executive Session. Motion carried 3-0.
A motion was made by Al Corey and seconded by Donna Corrigan. Sufficient evidence was presented to establish the Board’s satisfaction that Student #7 violated the school’s policies and to accept the Administrators’ recommendations made to the Board regarding Student #7. Motion carried 3-0.
A motion was made at 7:35 PM by Al Corey and seconded by Donna Corrigan to enter into Executive Session for a student issue. Motion carried 3-0.
A motion was made at 8:15 PM by Al Corey and seconded by Donna Corrigan to come out Executive Session. Motion carried 3-0.
A motion was made by Al Corey and seconded by Donna Corrigan. Sufficient evidence was presented to establish the Board’s satisfaction that Student #8 violated the school’s policies and to accept the Administrators’ recommendations made to the Board regarding Student #8. Motion carried 3-0.

5. Adjournment
A motion was made by Al Corey and seconded by Donna Corrigan to adjourn at 8:30 PM. Motion carried 3-0.
