Study
Skills Program
Coordinator:
Mary Cavanaugh
The BFA Study Skills Program's goal is to develop and foster
the student's life long learning skills.
Each student is challenged to improve his/her
learning potential, not only as a BFA student, but also as a life long learner.
What
is the BFA Study skills program?
What
skills are taught and reinforced?
The Bellows Free Academy Study Skills Program is only
one part of a designed curriculum to allow a student opportunities to achieve maximum
potential. It sets one piece of a foundation on which a framework for success can
be fostered.
Parents wishing to obtain a
copy of The Parent's Guide to Learning and Study Skills may pick one up in the
school's Main Office. This booklet gives the parent helpful strategies and hints on how to
better develop a child's learning potential.
